Gnome name generator

In Dungeons & Dragons,  gnomes are close relatives to dwarves and halflings in terms of size, but share an affinity for magic and nature with the elves. This translates to their names having a unique, whimsical, and often eccentric sound to them.

A gnome's name is usually given by his or her parents and is a combination of several parts, including a personal name, a clan or family name, and possibly a nickname. The personal names are typically unique to the individual gnome. As for the clan names, they usually describe an achievement made by an ancestor or a particular characteristic of the ancestor.

Gnomes from different settings in Dungeons & Dragons might have different naming conventions based on their culture and the cultural influences in those settings. For instance, gnomes in the Forgotten Realms might have different names than gnomes in Dragonlance or Eberron. Similarly, gnomes from the city might have different names than gnomes from rural or wilderness areas.
